NATURAL HEALTH CARE |
What is it all About ? The very first thing to ask ourselves is why Natural health care ? Shouldn't it simply be Health Care ? If we go back to ancient times, Health care was accomplished according to two directives. One coming from the spiritual institutions, the other coming from the "scientific" institutions. Sometimes, both entities were combined; such was the case with the "sorcerers" who were both the spiritual and the scientific leaders. But as science evolved, a breaking point appeared between the spiritual and the scientific. But even then, the scientific approach was based on the study and observation of the surrounding natural world. It was natural medicine, and this natural health care lasted for many centuries. By the end of the nineteenth century, and most of all by the middle of the twentieth, the rapid onset of modern science, especially in chemistry and biology, and most of all their relationship with the industrial revolution, led to the manufacture of more and more synthetic molecules or pseudo-natural products. But the real problem is not revolving solely around the nature of the product. The real problem is based more so on the industrialization process which commands an over productivity enforcing an over consumption of products. The bottom line is: we need to produce more and more to increase profitability, therefore we need to consume more and more. Although over-consumption may seem to be acceptable when it comes to basic products for everyday use, it suddenly becomes alarming when it comes to drugs. And as much as it is done with everyday items, drugs are in sinuously and progressively suggested to be an absolute necessity without which life can no longer be sustained properly. This is the actual message being propagated in our modern society. Natural Health Care is bringing another message, not as much cried about, but definitely more powerful. This message is that we as human beings, belong to a natural balance involving the close relationship we establish with our direct environment. The fact is, we cannot live on our own, and we are dependent, whether we like it or not, on our environment. This environment is what allows us to live, but it is also what brings us to die. This is the paradox of life itself. What better example than oxygen to picture this; oxygen is an element we cannot live without, it is also the element which is slowly killing us. So Natural Health Care is careful in recreating a balance between ourselves and the environment. We have the firm conviction that all we need is supplied for us in our environment. The positive, and the negative. It is our goal to manage and retain this balance as long as possible. In such instances, it becomes an inepsia to search for miracle drugs or similar artifacts. Choosing Natural Health Care is to choose balance over power.
