What is Natural ?

This concept is probably the most difficult to assess.

The boundary between natural and the rest is very slim and so hard to define.

First of all, let's agree on one thing, man has never created anything. All the inventions, scientific breakthrough and touti quanti are based on observation, copying, experimentation and application. The only thing man has to do, is to try to understand how everything that comprises its environment works, and once it's understood, find applications for it.

If we take a very hot subject like microprocessors, we do have a bad tendency to pretend than man has created the microprocessor, when in fact, microprocessors are no more than precise applications of the properties of a mineral called silicon, precisely, the same element involved in the structure of clay.

The intelligence of man is based on observation, analysis, conclusion and application.

Man has never been, is not, and will never be a creator.

Man is a wonderful duplicator.

And this is why differentiating natural from non-natural is quite difficult.

We, at Phybiosis, rely on a certain definition of natural. We consider natural all element or product existing as such in nature.
